My journey to wedding and event coordination began with a nine-year career in the tourism industry, where I wore just about every hat you can imagine—from Segway tour guide in Golden Gate Park to leading cross-country camping adventures through America’s most iconic national parks.

But my dream? It’s always been to run my own wedding venue on a little farm in the countryside, complete with a few tiny houses for guests to stay in, and a space where love stories come to life in beautiful, intentional ways. This is the first step toward that dream—and I’m so excited to be here.

My first job in tourism was leading Segway tours in San Francisco, but it didn’t stop there. I eventually ran the office, trained guides, scheduled and booked tours, and even launched their Jeep tour division—writing the entire lineup of tour content from scratch.

After that, I hit the road, guiding 1–3 week adventure tours that crisscrossed the country. These weren’t just “show up and smile” gigs. I handled everything: from trip logistics, vehicle management, lodging and campsite and hotel bookings, food planning and prep, timing for national park entries, to guest safety and comfort.

I’m also a certified Wilderness First Responder and CPR certified, which means I’m trained to stay calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations—especially in remote or outdoor settings. Whether we’re deep in the woods for an adventure elopement or just managing a busy event day, your safety and peace of mind are always a priority.

I now love having the privilege of coordinating local weddings, where I’ve handled everything from setting up tables, chairs, bars, DJ stations, and decorations to making sure the bride’s vision came to life—seamlessly and stress-free. I’m there to keep things running on time, solve problems quietly, and make sure everyone knows where to be and when, so the couple can stay fully present and simply enjoy their day. Whether I’m wrangling a timeline, managing a last-minute change, or creating a warm, welcoming space, I love helping celebrations unfold smoothly and joyfully.

A Few More Things About Me

  • I now live just north of Seattle in Edmonds, WA, where I moved to be close to my sister, my adorable nephew, and my partner. As a queer woman, building community and celebrating love in all its forms means everything to me.
  • I still love camping, hiking, biking, and exploring the outdoors on my time off.
  • I’m a creative at heart—sewing clothes, designing national park-inspired art, and dabbling in mosaics when I’m not planning events. You can check out my Etsy page.
  • I love alternative ways of living and celebrating—whether it’s a forest elopement or a backyard wedding under string lights.

The Story Behind the Name

Wild Pineapple Events is inspired by my days as an adventure tour guide in the Utah desert, where I learned the true power of going the extra mile. On some of our most challenging hikes—like the steep trek to Scout Lookout in Zion National Park—I would carry a whole pineapple, a cutting board, and a butcher knife in my backpack. When our guests reached the top I’d surprise them with fresh-cut pineapple.

Wild Pineapple Events carries that same spirit—thoughtful, adventurous, and always willing to go the extra mile to make your day unforgettable.
